The IOC World Conference on Prevention of Injury & Illness in Sport
Just nu pågår ”The IOC World Conference on Prevention of Injury & Illness in Sport” i Monaco.
Kongressen anordnas av den internationella olympiska kommittén och lockade över tusen besökare från 96 länder sist den arrangerades. Flera kollegor däribland Martin Asker, Fredrik Johansson och Eva Skillgate finns representerade för att presentera sina forskningsresultat och utbyta erfarenheter.
Furstendömets H.C.H Prins Albert II av Monaco skriver i sitt förord: ”The Conference favors a multidisciplinary approach towards sports injury prevention with the goal to allow athletes to train and perform at the highest level whilst preserving their future well-being. It represents a unique platform gathering eminent specialists on injury and illness from around the world where are exchanged the researches and best practices to protect the physical integrity of athletes off and on the field.”
